BHVI’s team of scientists, optometrists and engineers is led by Dr Arthur Back.
Dr Back has been the President of Vision CRC (a BHVI company), since March 2019. His extensive career includes a long tenure at CooperVision as their Research Director, Vice-President of Research and later as their Chief Technology Officer. During 21 years at CooperVision, Dr Back authored over 60 patents and commercialized over 16 products, including Biofinity Toric™ and the revolutionary MiSight™ dual focus daily disposable contact lens.
Dr Back started his career at BHVI. Today, he works with Dr Arthur Ho, Professor Padmaja Sankaridurg, Hassan Esfandiarijahromi and a young team of talented scientists to develop market-leading lens designs and intellectual property.
