UPC Optometrist of the Year – Prof. Padmaja Sankaridurg

Head of Myopia Program and Intellectual Property at BHVI, Professor Padmaja Sankaridurg, has been announced as the winner of the 2020 International Optometrist Award by the Facultat d’Optica i Optometria Terrassa (The Terrassa School of Optics and Optometry), Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Professor Sankaridurg will also be the sponsor of this year’s student entry, where she will be the Mentor of Class 2020 – 2024, and will provide an inaugural lecture on “Myopia: a global health problem”.
